In 2018, our company completed a job for the supply of the Autopark automatic parking system to the largest bus and truck parking area in Liberci, the so-called ČSAD garage.
This is a large facility which is the headquarters for a number of companies (Geis Parcel s.r.o., ČSAD Liberec a.s., the Customs Authority and several hauliers) and the traffic involving freight trucks in particular is significant.
The customer required the collection of payment, in particular from foreign truck drivers who have the option of long-term parking in the facility, while allowing the vehicles of all the facility’s tenants to pass through. As such, the automatic payment terminal not only accepts CZK, but also EUR. The customer did not require the use of payment cards in this case.
Given the fact that the parking system is not intended for the collection of parking fees from passenger vehicles (the barrier is opened by pressing a button in their case), the entry and exit terminals have been realised in the raised “truck” version. The terminals house built in RFID card readers which the tenants and their drivers use for free entry and exit.
The barrier arms are equipped with LED lighting for increased safety. Vehicle detection is enabled by means of induction coils.
